These two elements were key components in adding the finishing touches to this impressive renovation project. Going beyond traditional sustainable practices, this building features a reuse system and circular economy point, materials passports for all supplies on site, and even bird boxes for the roof area – making it an exemplary model of green construction.
The 1989-constructed building has been given a new lease of life due to the extensive refurbishment project. As part of this renovation work, the building features a warm reception area and fireplace lounge, roof terraces, superloos, bike hub and exterior seating areas decorated by trees and a green wall. Not only does this make the building more aesthetically pleasing but it also provides various wellbeing benefits for its occupants. This is reflected in its A-grade EPC rating as well as BREEAM Excellent and WELL Gold Ready accreditations that have been awarded to the project.
